For example in this not particularly high quality quick screencast you can see a terrible shot landing outside the green, but then an animal pops up and heads it into the hole.

I've been adding additional animations into the game now - moving the game onto something hopefully much more entertaining. What now happens is if you play a terrible shot there is a chance something will happen to rescue you.

I've been making further progress with Hole in One recently - for each 'poor' shot, there is now an animal that can randomly appear to rescue the player e.g. dinosaur appears and heads the ball into the hole, squirrel sweeps the ball into the hole from the rough and other animals jump on the ball to force it in.
It has been complex putting all this together, but thus far I've got two of the eight possible holes completed. #6

New additions to the game - again hopefully making it more enjoyable for students. Some of the developments for the third hole:
![]() The mad groundskeeper can appear and rescue a poor shot ![]() .... as can this teacher - the ball heads towards the water hazzard only to be headed back towards the hole ![]() .... or this animal who appears and forces the ball into the hole ![]() .... or the bear who appears out of the rough to knock the ball towards the hole ![]() 'Hole in One' animation - large words on screen - appears when you are successful. This is a test image also showing the groundskeeper zooming across the screen. I might try and keep this in too. #9

Thank you - I am determined to make sure the game is as playable and interesting for students as previous ones - the danger is such developments is that the playability is reduced with additional graphics and details. For me this game is very much about it appearing like a golf challenge, but then adding in additional elements.
It is taking a long time to develop but this is because I'm determined to make it top quality

Everything you do is top quality! =0) My son LOVES this one & the screenshots to Fire the Teacher- Can't Wait! ~~~ Sharnon ~~~ I've actually squeezed in some additional work on Hole in One this evening - see these additional screenshots. It is taking its time but I'm pleased with the way this game is developing. The additional 'comedy' animals and other helpers who assist poor shots into the hole make it much more random and fun. At least that is the aim! There are now 10 different holes on the course with a growing number of events that can occur:

This game still requires a lot of work before it will be available for release, but I hope to setup a demo illustrating the current progress as soon as possible. It *should* be so good to use with a whole class as one moment it appears they've made a terrible shot only for the whole thing to be rescued by someone appearing out of the water, a bunker or dropping in from the sky.

There are now 10 possible holes within the game - together with a wide range of 'extras' who can appear and help rescue a terrible shot (as explained in previous posts). This is the lineup including a dinosaur, teacher, bear, midget pirate and a mad groundskeeper:
![]() The game still works in the way the existing demos have illustrated but I believe all these added extras will make the whole thing particularly appealing to students. As soon as I've finished the scripting for each of the holes I'll put together a demo to show the latest progress. #14

I do like the idea of all those extras - especially the large ones like the bear and dinosaur

I can't wait to use this one!! Thanks - progress is being made with this game Regarding purchases, what I always offer is the ability for those who have purchased individual programs to upgrade to full suites simply by paying the difference - thus you won't lose out if you decide to purchase early. I will also offer a final-beta price for this game when it is available, along the same lines as the current On Target release. I aim to have a playable demo of Hole in One as soon as possible but - as always - I keep tweaking and improving the game.
